Religious Zealot or Obedient?

A very real glimpse into a not far off future for all of us that call ourselves Christians.

A Stenographer that works in the House of Representatives named Dianne Reidy decided after the Holy spirit had been stirring her for days, to step up to the mic, and say what the spirit was leading her to say and I quote “A House GOP aide told CNN” that she began by saying, “Do not be deceived. God shall not be mocked. A House divided cannot stand.” In reference to -Galatians 6:7 (KJV) says, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” It’s written in Matthew 12:25 (KJV), “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”

She is being referred to as a “religious zealot” and many other non flattering names that would far contrast what God would say about her if He was standing here right now. The news also referred to her as a deeply religious woman who writes things on her Facebook page like “Glory be to God”. As if this was a bizarre statement, or proof of her lunacy.

The picture is becoming clearer and clearer everyday of how Christians are viewed in 2013. We are coming to a time in history where the elimination of all religions is looking better and better everyday to most people, even one’s who profess Christianity. A recent Gallup poll show’s that 77% of Americans identify with a Christian religion. (http://www.gallup.com/poll/159548/identify-christian.aspx)
But, as the world becomes more and more hostile, and intolerant to any firm stance’s in favor of any religion. After the hearts have grown cold from the continued violence ( Matthew 24:11-13 …11″Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. 12″Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13″But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.…)

in the name of “religion”. Let us continue to show Christ’s love for our neighbor’s, and be bold in our faith, just like this dear woman Dianne who was following the Holy spirit who called her to brave in these uncertain days. Let us be brave and not grow weary of doing good, and obedient.Dianne Reidy

Was this a Prophetic Warning to our nation?

  1. Same MO (modus operandi) – don’t debate based on facts spoken with courtesy, use shovels to heap on contempt. That is all the world has, for Jesus is a fact, God is love and Paraclete convinces based on truth. Those who follow Jesus must speak the truth in love, even in the face of such nonsense. Let God work the rest out.
    Peace
