About

Hi my name is Marty, I am a 37 years old a mother and wife. I am a ordinary person who has always considered myself a believer in God and a generally good person. Some medical issues had cropped up in my life that started to draw me to more prayer. That was just the beginning of my journey of walking in faith. I would like to share my story and experiences with others, not only to give hope but, also together start to come to a place of understanding of what our purposes are in this life and how to see the gentle nudgings of God.

Since the inception of this blog, a lot of things have come about. I am now working through a non profit agency called “Center of Hope” as a counselor and mentor; basically trying to help others on a more one on one level of learning to tune into God’s voice.I have started a YouTube channel called “Revealing Him” Sharing my own experiences and bringing others forward to share there testimonies of God moving in their life and what that looks like. A link is on this blog! Also, I am making myself available for speaking engagements to share more of God again through my own experiences and how it relates to the word of God.

Thank you for reading!

****I have asked permission to use the stories from the people that have been mentioned in these blogs.******

  2. I am one of your biggest fans, keep writing, I hope and pray you get help for your pain. I want to read your book, can’t wait.

  3. Love your writing…so real and so fresh! But what I really love is your picture….it shows the JOY of the Lord in your life. Joy…Joy…Joy!!! It has been your strength through all you’ve faced and this joy will carry you through anything you may face in the future. You shine with God’s joy! God bless you and heal you!

    • Thank you so much for these kind words…. I am so excited to be a part of this loving community that desires to show the love of the Lord. I believe your blog will bring me much encouragement in my walk with the Lord.

  4. Great post, Marty! We have to tell it as it is. God will hold us accountable for not only what we say, but also what we don’t say. Sometimes it just comes out the way it does which can’t be helped. That’s how it is, but the truth was spoken in love and with love in mind for the hearers or readers, in this case. \o/

  5. Marty, I resonate well with your desire to see others come to understand their purpose in life…and most especially to recognize God’s gentle nudges, and hear His voice. May your harvest be more bountiful than all the grapes on your fabulous wallpaper! I look forward to reading more from you! 🙂

    In Christ,

      Love, Marty

      • I’m glad you only needed a nudge. It took a truckload of 2 x 4s before I finally “got” it! 😉 (Of course, you know that God’s “paddle” looks like the one you buy for a grandparent…padded!)

        Have a blessed day!
